Where are you with your idea?
Seven stages, in two phases. Pick the one that sounds like you right now. None of this is a test, and you do not have to finish a stage before you ask us for help.
Going backwards is normal. If you learn something that changes the idea, go back a stage and use it.

Discover and test
Find out what people actually need, shape one idea around it, and try it at a size you can manage.
